17 Year old trying to run away with a 31 year old !

Yup it appears that a fellow World of Warcraft online player who was 17 tried to run away with a 31 year old and got arrested. Notice how they made sure to note down how he got caught. Trust me when I say all you say on the net is read by others and you will get caught. You can find this article on any news article on the net.

A 31-year-old Australian woman, who arrived in the States to pick up her underage boyfriend whom she met playing World of Warcraft, was arrested on charges of kidnapping.

The boy, 17, planned on leaving his home in North Carolina for Australia to live with the woman. Instead, however, his parents hacked his email, found out about the plan and called the cops.

Agreed, he's 17. It isn't underage, unless in the US it's 18. Uk its 16. But it's not kidnapping since he went along of his own accord + he's alowd to have "relations" if you know what I mean.

I dont understand why she was arrested. The age you are legal is different throughout the US, depending on the state. In North Carolina, you have to be 17 to be declared legal, which confuses me. However, the relationship started when the kid was 16, so i think they are basing all this off of how the kid was 16 when they starting going out.

Well obviously not, but there's a big difference between a 14 year old and a 17 year old. I happen toknow of a few couples within that age range and they see mto be doing fine.
