Well I think so, and there's still more to come.

Currently waiting for that Bob Dylan movie and American Gangster. How about you?

I can't wait for 30 Days of Night. It seems like it will be the only unique vampire movie I've ever seen. I love the premise.

Personlly i think it's been one of the biggest letdowns ever.
I had high hopes for both Spider-Man 3 and Pirates 3 but thought they both fell flat on their faces.
Transformers was big shiny robots and no substance.

2007 seems more of a sequel and Trilogy year. Shrek, Pirates, Spiderman and Bourne. Sequel was Fantastic 4

Ratatoulle and 3:10 To Yuma really stood out from the rest for me. I'm still wanting to see Control, Finishing the Game, and Lust Caution.

Not no one, I would have killed a man for a sequel to National Treasure. Shrek as well, and ofcourse Harry Potter will keep going. Not everyone hates sequels, I love them personally, it's great to hear that one of your favourite stories is continuing and you get to see characters you like up to new things. It doesn't make the original worse, it's still there. I don't think they're as corporate as people make them seem, there's still hundreds of people behind them working hard trying to make a good movie, and so many people just say "oh hollywood just wants more money so they're not trying". "Hollywood" doesn't make them, people do.

Errr....big rant...sorry...I wuffle you KSE guy.

I think it was a decent year for movies.

Not the best but certainly one of the better years in recent times, but it was mainly due to so many big name sequels and blockbusters.

It was alright in my opinion. In my opinion the best one released this year was Transformers. I got the DVD! Yeah! :D Anyway, it wasindeed a year of trilogy enders. Pirates 3 was worthy to end the trilogy, Spiderman 3 was okay, Rush Hour 3 was just about as good, and I never got a chance to see Shrek 3 or Bourne Ultimatum. Was a good year for games though.

28 Days and Transformers were the best 2 I have seen this year. I hear Knocked up and Superbad are amazing, and even though I haven't seen it yet I am pretty sure that Superbad is an instant classic.

Now it is time to see how good the serious films are gonna be. American Gangster has tones of potential.
