I suggest you go to a car tuner based forum for that question, there are many popular ones out there with people who are ford mustang experts.

That's what happens when you can't "pony-up" the cash for a real Mustang. I'd rather own a Kia than a v6 sportscar...

Well getting a performance chip and putting in cold air intake always adds decent horsepower without breaking the bank.

Agreed, but I guess do whatever makes you happy. I think if your going to spend the money for mods (performance wise) why didn't you just get the GT version.

Because the V6 cost me $15,000, and a supercharger and a beefed up lower end is around $5-6,000 for a total of about $21,000...a new GT costs $28,000 BEFORE any taxes or whatever, so yea

Buying a new car is like tossing thousands of dollars on the road and lighting it on fire.

I agree, hence my car was $15,000. I forgot to mention that a V6 w/ a supercharger is faster and more fuel-efficient than the GT. plus its my first car, so im not complaining about anything

Well adding a blower or a turbo charger too it would help (unless it already has one),but then you would haveto add the fuel system components to compensate for the surplus of air so you don't dilute your air/fuel mixture. It's all up to how far you're willing to go with it.

Yeah, people like to think you can just bolt on forced induction, but there is engine prep that needs to be done. Also, there is no replacement for displacement.

Good point; I will change my statement to "I'd rather own a KIA than a V6 Mustang or Camaro..." At least my first new American made sports car was a 350 V8.. Pontiac Firebird Formula...

V6 camaro has almost as much horsepower as a 2009 mustang GT.

Yeah you might as well keep an EGR valve that you know is stuck open.
