Did anyone see the movie?

I did,I really enjoyed it,I thought it had a good story, NOT great but not horrible like the critics are saying...Acting was very good,the visuals were outstanding and I think thats what attracted people to gosee this movie...the movie was long,it was like 2 hrs and halfbut it was worth to watch....anyways did anyone see it,if yes,what did you guys think of it???

and btw does anyone think this will really happen in 2012??

A movie like that is ALL visuals. Mostly at the detriment of story.

I might go see it if my GF drags me along. I'm not to keen, though, as I don't get what makes everything go boom.

The movie was horrible. I saw it yesterday, and i have to say, it was one of the worst movies ever made. Not one ounce of intelligence in the script and worse, the special effects are not special at all, they are just computer graphics, like a video game. I miss the old days of physical special effects. I was extremely dissappointed.

I watched it today. Not bad, but not a hit too. Worth watching...

The Russian guy had me laughing everytime he speaked. Seriously, he was the most unitentionally funny character in the whole movie :D

Yeah a fellow friend of my mine invited me to tag along to watch it today. Good to see that people at least find it decent.

I want to watch it because I like disaster movies with great special effect eye candy like this.

Just saw it a couple of hours ago. It was a pretty entertaining movie. It's filled with so many cliche moments though.

and btw the special effects in the trailers arnt the only good ones in the movie, but almost the whole movie is filled with scenes like that.

So I watched it, not in theaters, and it was ok. I guess it was a fun movie with great special effects. I wouldn't mind getting it on Blu Ray later on and see all the awesome destruction.

Youre right :lol:. Movie was ok, but these end of days due dates are really getting old. Its as if every 10-20 years a new end of the world is coming. Nostodumus, y2k, mayan calander etc. If palin runs for president and wins.....not end of the world but still pretty bad.

Saudi arabia? From what i understood is that africa was the only safe haven because it rose thousands of feat obove sea level.
