52 inch Sony Tv for PS3?

My dad's cousin wants to trade me his 52 inch Sony LCD tv for my B/C 80gb PS3. From what I know the TV works fine and its in full HD. What would any of you do? I have a 120gb Slim so I don't really need the 80gb.
