http://www.cracked.com/article_16871_6-insane-discoveries-that-science-cant-explain.html

To sum it up

#6.The Voynich Manuscript: They've been trying for a while, they still can't decipher it.

To add on to it,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codex_Seraphinianus

Just about as screwed up

#5.The Antikythera Mechanism: It's only a computer from 2000 years ago

#4.The Baigong Pipes: Just a massive piping system in a mountain

#3.The Giant Stone Balls of Costa Rica: Gigantic perfectly circular balls.

#2.The Baghdad Batteries: Only a battery from the early ADs

#1.The Bloop: Um... I have no clue what to say. I for one am going with Cthulhu though.

This world is weird.

Sounds about right. At night time you don't need a lot of light. Just a little like a night lite.

No they don't. Gravity is derived by sin. The more sin you have, the more you attract sin, becoming an even greater sinner, thus causing greater sin.

Since there is no people on the Moon, the moon cannot have gravity... since there is no one to sin on the Moon.

Doesn't need to be large. Any body with mass will have a gravity of sorts. Even a grain of sand has gravity.

Noob, #5 has already be solved. Also, #2 is probably just a random discovery by the ancients that they found gave them a shock and believed it had mystical powerz.

Subatomic particles have gravity... which is one reason why science if baffled by the concept. It is the same force, yet it acts differently depending on the objects involved and the space between them.

The only ones that worry me are the pipes and the bloop. The others? im going to say tribes found technology and didnt want to share it, if you found the power of electricity would you go around shouting about it? no, you keep quiet so that the bigger tribe wont destroy you for your magic lights...

The bloop is just down right frightening, the idea that something so large is just lurking around down there....*shudders*

The pipes are just impossible, im going with aliens...

They definitely did, I cannot remember the result though, I think it was inconclusive or something, but it was Plausible IIRC.

Must be an old article, the Antikythera mechanism has been recreated, and they found that it's a calendar of sorts. One of the dials on it kept track of Olympic schedule.
A new paper from the Antikythera Mechanism Research Project (AMRP) is published in the prestige science journal Nature on July 31st 2008. It reveals surprising results on the back dials of the Antikythera Mechanism - including a dial dedicated to the four-year Olympiad Cycle of athletic games in ancient Greece. The Antikythera Mechanism Project

Here's a video of the working Antikythera mechanism. Also, while not being solved as to their origins, the giant balls of Costa Rica have been proven to be perfectly man-made. Trying to find a link.
