9/11 was an inside job created by George Bush. While I support the spirit of this thread...what are we supposed to discuss?

I won't give a moment of silence. I won't mournfully recall where I was on that fateful day in 2001. I won't pay my respects to any of the victims. I'm just going to treat it like any other day. And in doing so, I win; terrorists lose.
You have a good point.I won't give a moment of silence. I won't mournfully recall where I was on that fateful day in 2001. I won't pay my respects to any of the victims. I'm just going to treat it like any other day. And in doing so, I win; terrorists lose.

I actually like that logic, instead of acknowledging what happened we ignore it kinda like a troll. 9/11 was a failed troll attempt by Osama.I won't give a moment of silence. I won't mournfully recall where I was on that fateful day in 2001. I won't pay my respects to any of the victims. I'm just going to treat it like any other day. And in doing so, I win; terrorists lose.

Im pretty sure he wouldn't have been the president if that were true. A lot of people died that day. I've heard all sorts of crap like the explosions came from inside the buildings ect. The fact of the matter is, planes were hijacked and people died. It was a tradgedy.

He was joking.I think it is kind of late for that, the US already started two wars over it...I won't give a moment of silence. I won't mournfully recall where I was on that fateful day in 2001. Your sarcasm radar needs to be calibrated.I can get behind this, despite the fact that I live in New York, remember the day, where I was, and had an uncle fighting to stop it. Terrorism is meant to cause terror, I won't be terrorized. Also this will be a fun threadI won't give a moment of silence. I won't mournfully recall where I was on that fateful day in 2001. It was a joke, I'm just saying you know the whole "conspiracy" discussion people like to have, you ever watch the History Channel and all the BS they come up with in regards to the JFK shooting, "There was nine men in a gully suits and the bullet did a 120degree turn".[QUOTE="Oleg_Huzwog"]I think it is kind of late for that, the US already started two wars over it... 9/11 is on Sunday...[QUOTE="Treflis"]Sunday?, don't you mean Friday?Pirate700
Yesterday was Thursday, Thursday
Today is Friday, Friday
We-we-we so excited
We so excited
We gonna have a ball today
Tomorrow is Saturday
And Sunday comes afterwards
I don't want this weekend to end
Some on the planes were stabbed.
Some died when the plane stuck the building.
Some burnt to death.
Some jumped to their death.
Some were crushed when the buildings fell.
Some will never get over the loss of their loved ones.
May they rest in peace.

You know what I will always remember the most. The heros. I am not talking about the police and fireman that died, because they are not heros. They were just doing their job and that is not a hero in my book. Don't get me wrong, I am not happy they died. But the heros to me of that day are the people on the plane that crashed in the field because those people had the guts to stand up to the terrorist and prevented from hitting another building. Those people are what I call heros, not somebody just doing their daily job that they get paid to do.AmazonTreeBoaI guess no solider should be recognized as a hero. After all, they were just doing their job.

But then, it just depends on how much you watch/read the news and socialise, and weather you were going to school or had a job at the time. It's certainly possible to miss stuff like this sometimes.
I remember riding the Elevator to hop the bus to work and this guy was all "the US is unter attack". I got filled in on the bus from a guy with a radio.
And, apparently a 9/11 Conspiracy documentary is counted as FACT on CBC News channel......:|
i could not resist.

Currently haven't watched news for years.lol, me either. But if you attend school or workpeople will talk about it. I was in elementry school at the time. This year, untill this month, I wasn't in school though, nor did I have a job. If something like this happened durring then I probably woulnd't have heard of it. :PActually... My parrents probably would have heard and told me... I think you would have to be very isolated to not hear about something like this, I was near that point this year, but not quite, lol.
I always skip stuff like that. Can't wait to see how emotionally invested the Giants/Redskins game will be. Ironically, there will probably be jet fly-overs.
