The 19,000 confirmed victims of September 11th 1683 included innocent Ottomans from 11 countries.

The youngest victim was likely just a baby, because armies didn't show mercy to defeated forces back then.The oldest victim was probably around 40, but that was pretty old back then.





Lots of children lost a parent on that day.

Surprizingly, people seem to care more about something that happened 6 years ago in their own country, than something that happened over 300 years ago, and several thousand miles away.

You did a great job showing why what happened in 2001 in so insignificant. Only reason people feel so strongly about it is because it happened to Americans.. And we all know how national pride makes us superior and better than everyone elses tradegies.

I know, it's so illogical.

It seems kind of more logical to me. I mean, you read the month first, then the day, it seems to make more sense to put the larger thing first and then have the smaller thing follow it. Of course, we don't use the metric system either, so what do we know :?
