97.1 KLSX (hollywood) Going off the air. Goodbye FHandF, Adam and Tom!

In case you haven't been listening... 97.1 KLSX in Hollywood, CA is going off the air and is being replaced by a Top 40 radio station. Thoughts?

My work day/commute is about to get reallllllllllllly boring. FH&F is such an awesome show.. I hope to god they can find another station to go to.

In case you don't know... KLSX hosts the Adam Corolla Show, Frost Heidi Frank and Tom Lykis. Thus, these shows are GONE!

And as long as sports talk radio weei in Boston is still on, I could care less about any other station anywhere in the world.

Dude I feel ya! I've been listening to KLSX since the talk format took over. I love the station, especially Frosty, Heidi and Frank and the Tim Conway Jr. show. This station has been a part of my daily life since I was 18 yrs old and I'm pushing 31 now.

I think I'm going to be subscribing to satelite radio since there will be nothing interesting left on regular radio stations at this point. (Just what we need another top 40 station in LA :evil: )

It sucks for fans of the station, but I've given up listening to AM/FM radio a few years ago.

I guess the bottom line is that the company who writes the checks are looking to cut costs. Sad.. but hopefully they will be picked up by another station. I am about to listen to FH&F's last show in a few minutes... I hope they just get totally **** faced and make the FCC cringe.
