He wasn't old and it was really sudden. It's really upsetting. I don't know what to do about it. Have you guys ever had anyone close to you suddenly die?

Have you had a chance to really sit down and talk with your friend yet? How's he doing?

She's doing ok. I haven't had a chance to go by her house. I'm more worried about her brother. He and his dad weren't on the best terms when he died and I'm sure that's got to be hard for him.
My best friends ex GF (They were really close) died all of a sudden, he just went South from there, he took it really really hard and it pretty much ended our friendship and we had been best friends since Kindergarten (We just don't talk anymore, no fight or anything we just ceased communication) , some people just take the death of a loved one really hard and there isn't much you can do, but just try your best to be there for them and go out of your way to talk to them because they will rarely be looking for your sympathy. I made the mistake of not trying my best to talk to him, and it pretty much cost me a friend.
My wifes Mum, she had a stroke on new years eve just gone :?. Suddenly is hard, good luck with your friend I hope he pulls through ok and realises he has friends around to help him and his family.

No. Closest I've ever been was last semester when I was doing my rotation in hospice I saw a patient take their last breath. While I didn't know the person too well it still shook me up a little bit.

Best you can do for the both of them is be there for them and be understanding. Let them talk as much as they need to about things.
