A local band.. Out of Asher.

Ok, this isn't my band. I don't even really know the guy, besides the drummer. But I think the band flat out sucks. A friend told me to check it out, since her best friend is the vocalist.

now i have to defend my comments. 1 out of maybe 100 make it past the local level. so local usually means sucky, because if they were truly great they would get signed.

and some are good, but most are just sucky, there are a few good ones who just dont know how to market themselves.

But what about the local bands that are good enough to get signed but just never do, also I realize that most local bands suck that's why they stay local.

when you have mastered the english language as myself, you use words as qualifiers, in this case, "Usually." "Usually" means not always, but most of the time. I think that covers the 'local bands that are good enough to get signed but just never do.'

Thus: local ~= sucky.

I have no clue what you are talking about...

And it's stupid. Everyone is like "OMG YOU GUYZ ARE MAZINGQ!?!!". All the bands around here are christian rock...
