Considering he was convicted 4 other times for Burglery I think his sentance is fair.honkyjoeIt depends on how big the other break ins were. If they were small time ones, than I would think the sentence was a tad unreasonable.
I wonder what he'll say when other inmates ask him what he's in for...
But I think he deserves it, if the mother hadn't caught him he might have stolen more than a piggy bank.

I see were you are coming from, but it the end..A felony is a felony. It doesn't matter how much he took only that he took it. If there was more than 20$ in the girls bank im sure he wouldv'e taken it as well.
That's too much prison time. I would of sentenced a few months in prison as well as a fine, but 6 years in prison is way too much.Vilot_Hero
So how much time would you have given me when I blasted a hole in this man's abdomen with a shotgun for being in my house....in my little girl's room?
NONE!!! Because he was in my house and deserved to have a hole shot through him!!!

The robber didn't brake anything and tried to steal $20. And he gets 6 years in the crime house? I'm sure a few years in prison and a fair fine would do. It's not like he destroyed or torched down the houses in the other robberies.

Im still wondering why the hell would you steal 20$ from a little girls piggy bank?:lol:honkyjoe
I'm still wondering why a 2 year old would have $20?

He's a bad criminal...that sounds like it would be a clean sweep, but he still got caught.
A couple smoke Nades and a flashbang wouldv'e made things 10 times easier but some people just aren't that resourcefull:|
hmm I wonder if that criminal history included stealing a cookie from the cookie jar. They have been looking for that guy for you years now. barabadwan
Unfortunately, the tactic of denying and deflecting may mean this is never solved.

That damned investigation has been going in circles for years now, I am begining to think it may never be solved.
He didn't just steal $20, he broke into someone's house, again apparently. You do that and just because you only get $20 doesn't mean you should get a break.duxup
Yeah, I agree. That and the repeat offender thing makes a large sentence justified.
Repeat offender.....breaking and entering....theft. Sounds about right.LJS9502_basic
ya, essecially the repeat offender part.

Low intelligence, or no intelligence at all.
Maybe if it was bill gates daughter... you never know how much might be in that piggy-bank.
HE STOLE $20???!!!
HE DESERVES TO BE BEHIND BARS FOR LIFE!!!
Seriously, what the **** was this judge thinking...

that next time this guy might get in to a private house andhurt or worse kill some one

Than that would be different. He is a repeat offender. Every offense compounds the time spent in prison.foxhound_fox
It would depend on how big the offense was. If it was a bunch of small ones, than the sentencing would seem ludacris.
Considering he was convicted 4 other times for Burglery I think his sentance is fair.honkyjoeseconded, and he broke in
