i would recommend a maltese i have one currently and they are the nicest dogs and they are generally small. I also might go buy a yorkshire terrier so my maltese wont be so lonely. a trick to buying dogs and seeing how big they will generally get is looking at their paws bigger paws generally mean they will be bigger than others and vice versa. good luck and let me know what kind of dog you chose to get.

A Doberman, or a Weimaraner. Or a mix between a Doberman/Weimaraner. :D Dobies and Weimaraners are great dogs.

I used to have a maltese they're freakin awesome.  But they're hell to train and will pee everywhere.  We had to get rid of ours :(  also puppy maltese seem to have more energy than a regular puppy
