A series of unfortunate events.

Okay, I'm a huge sports fan. Specifically Basketball. Oct. 5th NBA 2k11 comes out and i've been dying to play it. I've had my xbox since launch and today it red rings and i need to find another one before tuesday. 30 minutes later my brand new, 2 month old kitten gets out onto our 16th floor apartment building's porch and falls off. She is now dead from falling almost 200 feet.

So OT, ever have a few rather upsetting or "unfair" things happen in quick secession?

(BTW i'm not looking for OMG SO SRY!!!1. this just made me think)

The Count dies at the end. Oh and that Beatrice guy the author never shuts up about was their mother. But that's just about all he explained. Pretty much all those mysteries/secrets went unsolved :(

On Topic: It happened just yesterday. I was going home from school when suddenly it rained. Thank God there's a bus waiting for a passenger, so I came in. As I checked my bag I then realized that the rubik's cube of my classmate which I borrowed was ****ing missing. Now I have to replace it.

I then got out of the bus and waited for another bus (our home is THAT far away from our school). As I'm waiting, some girl (probably 20-ish) just asked if I could share the umbrella with me. I said "sure why not". We need to get closer at each other and compress so that we can share the umbrella. As we get closer to each other, the bus then arrived. "I really have to go because it's raining hard" I said, then she ignorantly just walked away. It was a "What the ****" moment that day.

As I arrived home, my jeans and rubber shoes got all wet so I have to wash it, not to mention I was really tired.

So yeah, 3 consecutive unfortunate events.

I hate it when a certain topic turns to randomness too.

Are you even allowed to own pets in apartments? Especially in a building with 16 floors.
