A small survey

Hello all, I'm working with some people on a little research characterizing some virtual communities and I wanted your help with one simple question. I want to know how many users with whom you interact here can be categorized as more than just "casual encounters". That means, people you have befriended, you talk to frequently and you share interests other than just being here. It could be people you met in real life or not but you have to had met them here first and that you consider you have a significant relationship with them. I'm not asking for an exact number but just an estimate so please answer the poll.

That would require me figuring out what it means to have a 'significant' relationship, if an online one could qualify, how that compares to a real life one, and if I am even capable of that. LOL, don't be so tragic. Just think about the people that you interact with here and that you think you know well enough to be able to share more personal stuff. Or, as the person under your message put it, that you actually care if something bad happens to them.
