Well he is considered to be a liberal according to american political scientists you know. And Justin Trudeau and Thomas Mulcair would be considered to be anarchists/communists/socialists. Elizabeth May would be considered to be an eco-terrorist. (Stephen Harper is the prime minister of Canada and leader of Canada's Conservative party. Justin Trudeau is the leader of the Liberal party of Canada, Elizabeth May is the leader of the Green Party and Thomas Mulcair is the leader of the NDP.)

So? Some people in Africa and the ME surely thought George W Bush was to. People have different views of left and right, not a big deal. Harper > Obama however.

Don't know much about any of those guys. Why would Americans say May is an eco-terrorist?

I say, forget about all of them, let Hugh "the Polar Bear" Rowland be Canada's Prime Minister.

LOL No.... he is the best Prime Minister since William Lyon Mackenzie King, if Taliban Jack or one of those Liberal clowns had been in power during the recession Canada would be like Greece or Spain right now.

@DrKillByDeath84: Canadian banks were fine during the recession. Any and all problems we faced were due to trade with America. How could we have faced financial collapse when we had no inherent problems?

The NDP and Liberal parties wanted to spend more money than the CPC did during the recession, which in part helped trigger the 2008 election because they could not find common ground for the stimulus package. The banks were fine, but the potential for runaway government spending was a problem.

"Thomas Mulcair would be considered to be anarchists/communists/socialists."

Let me help friend:

The extreme far left/liberal big government lovers(mediocre un-competitive types) would be considered communists.

The extreme far right/conservative get the F out of my life types would be considered anarchists.

For the most part all the people you mentioned are communists. They all lean left. They all vote and support communist liberty stealing, crony capitalist monopolies, fraud, bailouts, open borders, free trade, gay rights, womens rights, amnesty, democracy, health care, public schools, military type of police, fear mongering and information non-disclosure. Some are aware and are doing it on purpose while most are just brainwashed by a lifetime of subversion.

I've never understood this obsession with "right-" and "left-wing". There are more facets to one's political standpoint than just an economic position.
