I am glad Queen chose Adam as the new singer and replacement for Queen. Adam sings circles around Freddie. Ever notice how Freddie NEVER hit the high notes of Queen notes live? Freddie just faked them in the studio and couldn't hit them live. He never hit the high notes of Under Pressure, Who Wants To Live Forever, Hammer To Fall, etc....live. Which always ruined Queen's live performances. People always make excuses for Freddie. "He didn't wanna blow his voice out" "He has a 2 hour show" BS. Adam is touring with Queen, he does the same 2 hour shows, he actually HITS the high notes dead on, he doesn't p*ssy out of doing the studio notes like Freddie did. No you are not, i seriously thought this would be a trolling effort, Since it seems to not be i'll answer as such that this is a genuine argument, Adam Lambert is good but the way he sings just isnt as good as Freddie, its like hes too obsessed with trying to make his voice sound good than feel the song and sing the song for the song than for the promotion of his own voice if you get what i mean. If anything Adam singing Queen songs reminds of one of those girls on x-factor or american idol (not that hes on their level hes far beyond it) trying to make their voice sound great and not the song.
So he actually joined Queen? Huh. I recall they offered him the position way back when but he never took it.
But anyway, he's a good singer, a fantastic singer even, but better than Freddie Mercury? Nah, don't think I'll go with that. Yeah, you got a video of him not hitting a high note. So? Everyone has bad days. There's a hilarious bite of Jose Carreras making a horrible crack on "Celeste Aida," but that doesn't mean he isn't a fantastic tenor.
He doesn't have a moustache, doesn't seem to have a penchant for singing in his underpants and is wearing a ridiculous jacket seemingly cast off by Bonnie Tyler sometime in the early 80s. Sure he can hit the right notes, as no doubt a number of pub singers could who frequent various taverns around the globe. Then again that's not what it's really about, and if you want an exact replication of what you hear on a CD, then you may as well just listen to a CD.Â

They're just staying relevant by reaching outside of their typical fan base. ... and maybe they're actually friends with Adam Lambert -- maybe he's okay in real life. But yeah, it's just a shame that tastes in music are so poor these days. Pop music has become so commercialized and often lacks any wholesome or artistic value.
He was the runner-up on American Idol about four years ago. He's not a bad singer. There's no reason for the feigned shock. People hate him because he's popular and was on American Idol. I admit I hated that Queen recruited him too, but I got over it. He's not half bad.
