I'm not even much of a fan of anime and so here my girlfriend blind buys the Death Note volumes 1-3 collection and recently volume 4. I'm addicted. It's kept me wanting a lot more. Hellsing OVA was the only other anime I could really get into, which my gf also got me into. In fact, I'd say Death Note is the best "TV show" I've seen since Heroes. I can't wait for volume 5!
hell yeah. i already seem the whole series, more than once. and i'm also collecting the dvd's. but i have to say, it's one of my fav anime of all time. and i have only 3.
Deathnote kicks ass :) and there are only 12 to the story and then the How to read (Very funny) so you can get done in like a week or two if you have the time
Same here. I've been watching Devil May Cry and Death Note in an attempt to get into Anime and my god I can't get enough! I'm on episode 28 I think now and converted the rest of the episodes tonight onto my iPod ready for watching on the way to college :D

Thanks for reminding me. I also got the Devil May Cry anime volumes 1 and 2 (and the one I got with the DMC4 limited edition). I've only watched one episode and it wasn't bad but since I'm a DMC fan I'm sure I'll like it too, especially since it looks like it's produced by the same company that did Death Note.

Nice one :) I found I had to concentrate more on DMC whereas with Death Note, as soon as the episode ended I was like "More!" :P I just can't get enough, it's so addictive! And I loved Heroes as well, can't wait for season 3!
Yeah It's awesome its a shame that it's only 37 episodes long. However, I get addicted to pretty much all anime... except naruto. The manga's good though. Strange enough I'm think I might be addicted to rozen maiden and have no idea why I seen everything, but I still want more. Strange.

Death Note is great, the anime is probably the best on television at the moment. I would also recommend buying the live-action movie when it is released on DVD in October. Hellsing Ultimate is also great, hopefully they get that whole licensing thing figured out and start releasing more of them here.

I saw the first movie in theatres in May, it's definately worth watching.
I don't like the anime, after reading the manga first. Which I love to death. I'm about to read the novel that was written with L in it. Seems like it should be good. My favorite volume is the 10th.
yeah i recently got addicted to death note too. i bought the first 7 volumes at a store thinking "these better be as good as people say they are..." and i read all 7 within about 3 days. and now im definitely getting the rest of them.
