Have you ever had a girl who's already in a relationship send you romantic vibes? There is a girl at my job who works in another department and whose boyfriend works in the same department as me. On numerous occasions she's done things that indicate that she likes me. For example, she'll start pointless conversations with me just to interact with me, all the while wearing a flirtatious smile or she'll stare at me with this anticipatory look on her face.

I don't even know why she has any interest in me. I'm not as attractive as her boyfriend; I'm shorter; and I don't have swagger like he does.

Anyhow, have any of you been in a similar situation?

LOL swagger

Come on, Blu Ray. This isn't high school. :P

Anyway, on topic: When I started junior high, I met this girl by my locker since her boyfriend's locker was close to mine. She smiled and waved at me a lot, and I did the same back. One of my friends sent me a note that she had written, and apparently she just wanted to get "acquainted". In other words, she just wanted to friend zone me. O_O I did talk to her from time to time, but nothing ever happened obviously. I mean, she already had a boyfriend and it was freaking junior high. Although when I went to high school orientation, she gave me a big hug. My mom saw it happen and said she liked me because of the way she hugged me, but, of course, nothing never happened.

She had great legs too. :(

Trust me, bro. She wants more than that. The way in which she smiles at me suggests such. Keep in mind that I'm not delusional; I've admitted many times that I don't think people like me, so in order for me to believe someone likes me, there has to be a serious and convincing reason.

I know what you mean man. Bought a sub the other day, chick behind the counter said "hi", smiled, even told me to have a good day. She totally wanted it.

If she wanted you, she'd be with YOU--not HIM.

Why is it that when some people receive a nice smile or a pleasant look, they automatically think the other person wants to **** them?

Not entirely true, she could be playing games. But yes he should consider they idea that she doesn't want anything

Yes I have... I was even the guy on the side for awhile.

But i found out I didn't like being that guy.Made me question myself too damn much. Also it's sleazy and disloyal.

Don't be that guy.

Is she aware that you wear a gimp mask in your spare time?

Next time she comes talking to you, wear that mask. If she compliments you for it, then she definitely wants to be in a romantic relationship with you.

Its incredibly easy to flirt with a woman whilst remaining very much in control of the situation. Just be that guy who says it exactly how it is. Girls like that. Plus you dont get messed around if you say it how it is.

Seriously, some girls are just nice people and nice people smile. We all know you're quite a character and she probably just wants some laughs. Call me when she starts touching you, hugs etc.

@BluRayHiDef: Well, do us all a favor, ask her out for a cup of coffee. If she accepts, then you're right and it's showtime. If she rejects, then you were wrong.Just make sure to comeback here to tell us how she reacted.

I just hope you're luckier than I was, 'cause last time I asked a girl out for some coffee, things didn't go well. She told me to get lost and never to show my goddamn face to her again.

Oh and, What's the D?

I met this girl who is already in a relationship ask me to walk her home after just meeting me at my best friends party. She was a really cool girl so I said yeah but was pretty surprised that she asked me instead of my friend to take her home. There was another guy who she was talking to longer than me who I was surprised she didn't ask either. Sometimes a girl see's a guy she thinks is sweet or cool and will ask things you wouldn't expect. That doesn't really mean anything. Some things are so rare to find these days that they come off as flirting or something else.

she could be interested. some girls will be in a relationship and will get out of them to be with other guys they are talking to. probably best to leave girls like that alone though it will never lead to anything long term. if you are looking for something short term then go for it.

You may be misreading her feelings. Guys in general tend to think a women being nice to them means they have romantic/sexual interest in them, when in fact, they were just being nice. Like somebody else said, ask her out for a coffee. Unless she is stupid, that should send a messages saying that you are interested in her. If she accepts, chances are she is interested, but you should still feel her out (not in a rapey way) when you go out. Also, don't intentionally try to break up her current relationship, its a serious dick move. It's one thing if she is into you and wants to start something, its another to go out of your way to try and get rid of her current relationship so you have a chance.

To the awnser on your first question: Yes and I already had an other relationship. Never ever again.

But in your case: try it man! Just take her outto somewhere as 'friends'. It's an awfull thing to do, but that's life.

Yeah, after we had all been roommates together for a couple of years, my friend's gf came right out and told me she liked me. It made everything awkward since we had been so close.

Dealing with girls who are already in relationships just isn't worth it. If you're smart, you'll keep your distance.

Just whip it out, best way to get out of the friend zone (and fastest)
