I am pretty indecisive when I post. (well as I person I'm pretty indecisive as well) I can't make up my mind what I want to say and have it come off in a way that isn't offensive. Usually it is a "safe" answer and very cautions. :? To sum up my usual stupid wording of my post, no, I don't recall a time this has happened to me. It seems like my posts do one of these things:
A.) Gets completely overlooked.
B.) Is just a answer with not much "meat" to it and nothing much to say about it.
No...I never even say stuff that would be really offensive.

Well same here for the most part. It was just the one time really, and it was just generally in poor taste at the time. I felt pretty bad, to be honest.
No. I just forget it ever happened and assume everyone else does the same. And even if I didn't, I don't see the problem with random people on the internet thinking some guy called Xeros606 is an idiot.

No. I think most people have vented after a crappy day or a heated argument or a few too many beers, and if the person you've offended or whatever can't understand that, then they're probably not the sort of person whose opinion you should worry about too much.
Apparently the mods think that I have been stupid for calling vampire fiction readers unintelligent mustelids and calling someone too lazy to write a counter argument a cry baby.
haven't done it yet, but i would consider it. it's kinda hard to hide from OT though. some the of users here have memories like an elephant :lol: they just never forget. it could be months later and they will find your posted comments if need be and make you look the fool:P hasn't happened to me yet, but i am foolish enough to post something incredibly moronic that would turn around and bite me in my @$$:shock:
As the haze of waking up washes over me, and the 1st realization Im capable of is how much I hate being hungover & all the previous nights recollections are so fuzzy, that its at this time Im just so thankful that the GS OT boards are there to catch me at my most glorious, and immortalize those witty and insightful spoutings that at the time seemed so right but in the cold hard light of sobriety are exposed as truly great examples of idiocy and neanderthal behaviour. And to this posters great delight this morning I had the mother of all dumb posts for me to recollect. But I cant change my avatar and sig cause as much as I might regret the post and maybe, just maybe people out there will remember me from that post and have a negative opinion of me from now on......I got to front up and accept all responsibility for my actions, influenced or not, and learn and correct and move forward.
It's an extremely rare occasion that I speak or type a post without thinking about the possible ramifications. With that said, most jokes, comments, and occasional offensive statements are done in a deliberate manner and with a clear purpose. I do not hide from statements I have made in the past since I rarely have the need to improvise my conversations. And yes, I do have many of my social engagements planned out before hand (aside from jokes and illustrations I often make).
i have created a new account for that purpose once , but creating this new account was even stupider, who cares?? we are all a bunch of internet users, you can be the stupidest person around here and that's ok.........not all the time tho.
