Hi,

Will someone please explain the difference between an "Aggregated Weekend", and a "Weekend", relating to box office totals?

Thank you :P

wow, thats a good question. I was going to attempt to explain, but I do not know EXACTLY. I believe that weekend box office sales reflect Fri, Sat, and Sun only. Aggregated include any early premieres (midnight shows on Thurs.), or if a film is released on Weds in order to boost their weekend earnings report. This is speculation, so I am not sure if thsi is absolutely correct...
