I can understand that, but on the platforms that McCain and Palin are taking and their conservative outlook, if I was them I'd rather let the domain fall to some seedy third party and just distance myself away from it. If you don't associate with it at all, even with a sensationalist media not much harm can be done.

Yeah I agree it happens all the time and is quite common for names like that to be taken or bought out etc... HOWEVER.... having such a site name be re-directed to your main site?? That makes no sense. It should lead to nowhere or a web page addressing any remarks of her about that as being yada yada etc.... But to just simply redirect it there? That is what is weird IMO
