I thought it was from eating them. You can't get aids from ingestion, unless you have a major open sore in your mouth, which is causing you to bleed profusely, in which case I dont think too many people would be eating at that time.

I thought it was from eating them. It was from eating them. It was because a Green Monkey bit a guy on a safari or something and he got AIDs. He was gay and had sex with other guys they got it and it somehow got to the straight community.

That's an urban myth. People were using primates as a cheap way make vaccines. Normally it worked pretty well, but there was a freak strain that actually affected humans (normally it only affected the primates they used to make the vaccines) and some poor guy ended up being injected with aids.
