It's weird, because my family was very apathetic towards McCain but when Palin was introduced as the VP, they were really excited and, well, my mind did a somersault.

Imagine if Palin is Vice President, she wants more power and then she'll abuse that power, that's scary as hell.

The Republican-dominated panel overseeing the Trooper-Gate probe just voted unanimously to release the report by its independent investigator.

The report finds that Gov. Sarah Palin "abused her power" in violation of Alaska law. That's the key finding. It also finds that while his refusal to fire Palin's former brother in law was not the sole reason Palin terminated her public safety commissioner, Walt Monegan, it was a "contributing factor."

It is hard to imagine there was going to be any other result other than someone trying to stalemate the process. Even before the official investigation news reports were not looking good for her. You had the "oh no we weren't asking to have that officer fired" and then the "oh well we always talk to that department so of course we were leaving a lot of messages, we're the Governor's office" and then "well maybe some people visited to talk about that officer a few times, how many times did they say we asked them about it?" . . . . then silence.duxup

Ok, 70% mark opinion: Todd Palin is one scary bad mamma jamma: "When I arrived into the governor's office, I advised them that I had an appointment with the first gentleman. And I was directed back into the governor's office itself. It's a cornor office. There was no, the governor wasn't in the office. The only other person that was there was Todd, Todd Palin... I recollect that Todd was sitting there. He had three stacks of paper in an array in front of him. The largest was probably a quarter inch thick, and that was in the center. To his right, I believe what I recall was a stack of paper that looked lik photos or copies photos on typing paper... My impressions was that Todd was not happy with the outcome of the investigation. So when he informed me that he also had the larger stack. The one that was in the center was a report from a private investigator that they, whoever 'they' is, had hired to look into some of the issues or allegations surrounding Trooper Wooten... And then the smaller stack that looked like photos were just something that appeared to be like individuals.. What I recall, one looked like a moose and... that had been shot. Todd still talking to me about Trooper Wooten..." Man that is some serious Silent of the Lambs crap goin on. I'm going to have nightmares about Todd Palin.Vandalvideo
