...you know every track word-for-word. I posted a thread like this two years ago but I thought I may as well create another one as we have another two years of music to add to our lists. I'll start (and please don't use this thread as a way of lampooning people's music tastes)

U2

  • The Unforgettable Fire
  • The Joshua Tree
  • Achtung Baby
  • All That You Can't Leave Behind (not my favorite, I just heard it loads and loads when it first came out)

R.E.M.

  • Document
  • Out Of Time
  • Automatic For The People
  • Up
  • Reveal

Green Day

  • Dookie
  • Warning
  • American Idiot (again not my favourite album, I again just heard it far too much when it was released)

"Weird Al" Yankovic

  • Bad Hair Day
  • Running With Scissors
  • Poodle Hat
  • Straight Outta Lynwood
  • Alpocalypse (well not quite but I am getting there!)

Bob Dylan

  • Bringing It All Back Home
  • Highway 61 Revisited
  • Blonde On Blonde
  • Blood On The Tracks
  • Desire
  • Oh Mercy

Counting Crows

  • August And Everything After

My Chemical Romance

  • Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge
  • Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys

Snow Patrol

  • Eyes Open

A single album like that does not exist for me. I've listened to plenty of albums heaps of times.....but I'm typically more interested in hearing the music. I'll learn the lyrics to some songs that I really like.

Alexisonfire - Crisis

Brand New - The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me

Bullet For My Valentine - The Poison (loved this type of stuff in high school)

Atreyu - Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses

Avenged Sevenfold - Waking the Fallen and City of Evil

Deftones - Around the Fure, White Pony, and and self titled

Foo Fighters - Greatest Hits

Refused - The Shape of Punk to Come

Poets of the Fall - Twilight Theater

Rise Against - The Sufferer and the Witness

That's all that comes to mind for now, but I know there's plenty more. I basically always listened to music when I'm doing homework or just relaxing aroud the house.

It's the only one that comes close for me. It was the first album I bought and I gave it a lot of plays back then.

Fair enough. It's just that with the ones I've listed I really like pretty much every track, and even the ones I'm less keen on I will tend to listen to to pass the time anyway

Man, I wore this record OUT! (it's My Beautiful Twisted Dark Fantasy by Kanye West BTW) There was a period where I listened to this album every time I commuted to school and on the way back. I listened to it so much that I had to take a break from it.

But overall, I've probably listened to this...

even more.

It is such a f****** beautiful album. It's that kind of album where you can get lost in its soundscapes. It reminds me of being underwater.

My music library isn't very large (about 3000 songs), but I can recognize almost all the songs in it just by listening to the first few seconds of music, and instantly know the song title, artist, and album. Whenever I get a new album I listen to it exclusively until I know all the tracks by heart, and then I put it on rotation with the rest of my library.

I'm only talking about music, though; I couldn't care less about lyrics.

Dude's flow and lyrical style (and even some of the music; for example, WhiteGirlProblems) is so Kanye-like. That's not a bad thing tho. These tracks are pretty interesting.

I don't listen to too much Kanye, but I definitely can see where you're coming from. Hoodie's style reminds me a lot of Power, minus the chanting.

Only 3000 songs? Just what is considered a large music library these days? :P But then again, all my music is from physical CD's. I'm not one for downloading my music.
