I dunno man. Alcohol doesn't result in mental illness. :?
This is strictly for my term paper. I'm doing it on the effects of alcohol compared to the effects of soft drugs (such as marijuana.) What's your take on the two? Do ya'll have knowledge about either of the two's effects?MrMjolnir
Well first off you need to specify what all drugs (other than Marijuana) fall into the "soft" category.
IMO, your probably better off just taking off soft drugs and only leaving Marijuana. You can make a much better argument if it's just marijuana vs alcohol, because in this case alcohol crushes marijuana on the danger scale.

I highly doubt that. It sounds like more "Reefer Madness" type propaganda to me.

Alcohol. Alcoholism is a genetic trait, which explains myself, but their is no drug dependency that can be passed down through families.Jaks_Secrethow can there be a genetic trait for one drug, but not any other?

People like to make the argument that heavy marijuana use at a young age can lead to mental illness. What they are forgetting is the fact that statistically alcohol abuse is a 4x greater predictor for developing schizophrenia...
No matter how you look at it, alcohol is much more dangerous.
