AiC had much more emotion in their songs and just better overal. They were both great bands though and I think people here don't give Nirvana enough respect.R0cky_Racc00nThis pretty much
[QUOTE="TheColbert"]Nirvana is better for me. I like the Grunge music, Candlebox, Pearl Jam and some AIC. Alice In Chains has that one really weird song though that freaks me out. I forget the name.SAGE_OF_FIREGodsmack?
Iron Gland probably as it's one big mind ****

Actually I looked it up and it is I Stay Away. Its that part with their voices and the video is sorda strange. Not sayin I don't like the song, just weird to me.
Nirvana and Soundgarden tie for first. Nirvana I liked more at first, but the simplicity lacks staying power. Soundgarden has larger library too.
Alice in Chains is left in third. Still one of my top...20 bands I'd say. I think I'll listen to Grind right now actually.
Pearl Jam, well Pearl Jam sucks.
They are all very different though. Nirvana more punky and simple, Soundgarden usually cleaner and more complex, Alice in Chains were harder. It's too bad of the four the one I didn't like is the only one that didn't break up, though AiC is supposed to be getting back with a new singer.
