No matter what your opinion if AvP was, that movie still had a much better set up/environment or place if you will where the events took place. I mean common, i could be very wrong but Avp 2 sounds like a teen horror movie from all the info we have got from it, so im gonna have my hopes for it as small as possible. Most of avp 1 faults was not from anderson, that was from FOX. Movies today is more then ever before about money, so a thing like PG 13 that avp got was so that FOX could get more people to see it, therefor more money. And now that Avp2 is rated R they think after all the bad rep avp 1 got that they can got all those people that didnt like avp 1 back in the theathers so they can get their money again.

I'm a huge fan of Aliens, have been since i was 4. They need to go back to the roots and bring back the whole space marines formula, where the Aliens are at their best. None of this fanservice AVP crap.
All indications seem to show that its going in the right direction as far as being R rated "a hard R" as was said by a Fox exec. when asked the movies rating. I just dont know much about the Strauss Bros. as directors- so thats a question for me. I think they are mainly commercial/ad/video directors, but who knows. Maybe we will be suprised. I wish they would bring back Stan Winston to do the Predator SFX or at least a supervisor on effects. I HATED the way the Predator face looked in AVP. I watched Predator 2 yesterday and the face in that looked more realistic than the one in AVP!! and that movie cam out when i was 10! 1990. I just hope it can salvage some predator dignity.....come on, a predator would not be a team-up buddy with a chick. Lets get real....
It has different directors this time, and it wasn't gay I would like to know how a film could be gay but oh well.
On Imdb, the Strause brothers are answering a few questions, the ones they can answer anyway. Apparently, the original Predator's infra-red vision is making a return. (The one seen in the original two films, not AvP).
I was always confused why in the original Predator it gets injured by a stray bullet, and in Predator 2 it just stands there and bullets dont harm him. Whats the deal?
