They all had big heads... so I guess.

Might have been another specie that was more stronger than us.

The Orion mystery is a classic example of pseudo-science. The 3 largest pyramids on the Giza plateau are not on a straight line, there is a small offset so it ressembles the position of 3 of the stars from the orion belt. Were the builders inspired by that constellation when they build those pyramids? Possibly. Is it just a coincidence? Maybe. Does the position of the stars exactly match the layout of the pyramids? Hardly. What are the odds of plotting 3 points and ending up with something that ressembles the same layout? Plenty. We're talking about 3 points here, not exactly the most complicated figure....

It does lineup perfectly with the constellation as it appeared in the sky 10,000 years ago though. And they're the only pyramids in Egypt with no writing on them whatsoever. Which are some reasons that they are believed to be much older than the time of Kufu. It seems plausible that Kufu could've changed the history books, and taken credit. Especially since geologists say that the pyramids have suffered from severe water damage. Which contradicts what historians say. Plus, the corners align to true North and South, not magnetic N/S, which is a great feat. Couple that with the fact that all of the sides are so equal in length, and the structures become even more extraordinary...

It angers me when people doubt the intellegence of our ancestors after all their countless achievements.

There's no such thing as aliens. And besides, the Inca did stuff like that too.

The Inca pyraminds are far different from the Egyptians'. Plus to state that aliens don't exist is pretty daft, considering their are billions of stars in our galaxy alone and many more galaxies.
