I think it was based on true events
Yeah the actual person based on this movie- goes by the name of jesse james hollywood.
that would be an awful movie. You can't make a sequel to a movie where everyone went to prision in the end and if you want a prequel just go to the nearest big city and walk around the rundown neighborhoods.
that movie made me cry even before I found out it was based on true events I mean it was just sad.
oh and to anwser you question no, they can't make a second one to a true story I mean it didn't even do well enough in the box office to warrant trying to make a second one.
Alpha Dog is based on real events. A second movie wouldn't add anything. Besides, it was a great little indie production. Why spoil it with some half assed sequel?

Actually it would add alot of things such as- how they meet each other? why was baseball their fav hobby?
how they have gotten into the drug business? what was their lifestyle like as children. tons of things with a lifestyle like their's, that makes you wonder how they grown up to be drug dealers .

how they have gotten into the drug business? what was their lifestyle like as children. tons of things with a lifestyle like their's, that makes you wonder how they grown up to be drug dealers .
why does it matter all that matters is how it all ended and why it ended that way and how they got caught and if they got punished why should they make a movie about their lives before the event that matters.

Sorry realistic but that stuff really wouldn't make a good film. Alpha Dog was great. A prequel would be boring, as they would really have nothing to do.
