wow, its not about how important your family is compared to me, it is about if they are worth killing an innocent person for. I think a humane persone would at least have a little hesitation.superheromonkey

I thought I sent my ninjas after you last week! How are you still alive?!! I want my family back! :cry:Shad0ki11
i had my pirates dispose of your ninjas mwahahahahaha...
[QUOTE="superheromonkey"][QUOTE="duxup"]Ninjas, always ninjas.duxup
I thought pirates killed all the ninjas?
Pirates are no match for ninjas, pirate popularity is a fad.
I want you to know I spent several minutes trying to post a picture of a pirate owning a ninja, but failed miserably each time, thus I concede for now, but this is far from over.

Pirates have defeated all the ninjas a long time ago.
All the pirates had to do was run towards the ninjas and they ran away, thats how they won the war :D
Yes, I kill you.
but I would feel horrible about it and do everyting in my power to make you go out in peace and style.
The utilitarian in me wouldn't hesitate to kill you whereas really I would know that actively killing a person is worse than letting your family die.
Here's two scenarios to think over:
1- You are on a train and the conductor has passed out leaving you solely in control. Alas you don't know how to brake but you do know how to change the track of the train. Currently the train is heading towards a group of five people on the train tracks, if you maintain your course you will kill them. If you change your course the train will be diverted onto a different track that has just one person on it and you will kill him. Do you maintain your course or change the track?
2- You and an enourmously fat man are on a bridge overlooking a train track. You notice that ahead of you are five people on the tracks, behind you is a train bearing down on them. You can stop the train by pushing the fat man off the bridge and in front of it or you can do nothing and allow the train to kill the five people. Do you push the fat man or not?
It's a matter of either purposefully killing one or unwillingly allowing five to die. In all honesty my own selfishness would drive me to avoid responsibility and simply let things go as they are.
I wouldn't kill TC.
Oh and of course WWBD (what would batman do?)
Lol at option two thats hilliarous how big is this guy??The utilitarian in me wouldn't hesitate to kill you whereas really I would know that actively killing a person is worse than letting your family die.

I wouldn't hesitate 5 lives are better than one and if they saw me do it I doubt they would tell anyone cause I just saved their lives.[QUOTE="domatron23"][QUOTE="NZgamer007"][QUOTE="domatron23"]Lol at option two thats hilliarous how big is this guy??The utilitarian in me wouldn't hesitate to kill you whereas really I would know that actively killing a person is worse than letting your family die.

There are six people in a room, yourself and five hospital patients with various illnesses. One needs a heart transplant, one needs a double lung transplant, two need a kidney and one needs a liver. You're a doctor and you know that your organs will save these people and return to them their once normal lives. Do you donate yourself or not?
