Am I the only one who actually ENJOYS being single?

Seriously. I've had chances to date girls ever since middle school. But from 2000 (my middle school years) to now I never wanted to date anyone. I've had plenty of chance to date someone, but I've always rejected them. Hell, I had a chance to date the two of hottest freshman (and hottest girls all around in my highschool) and even I turned them down.

I dunno why, I love being single. Sure there's times I hated being single, but most of the time I love it.

Anyone else feel that way?

Also I have fooled around, I'm not a virgin. I just never had a date with a girl in my life, let alone a relationship.

I'll let you know when I am not single.

I've never been in a relationship so I can't say that I enjoy being single.

It's just that I love my freedom, I do hate being single but that feeling is a once in a while thing, but all in all, I love it.

I love being single, but I did have rumors in the past spread about me wanting to date someone.

and i'm just now starting to finally enjoy it
i have to focus on finding a job and not booty...

I like it. If I meet a girl I like who likes me as well, I tend to mess something up and I'm really not all that interesting, so I don't bother anymore. This may sound like the opposite of liking it, but I've learned to not give a ****. Probably sounds trivial, but accepting that I'll either meet someone practically hand-designed for me or likely be forever alone is actually comforting.

Delusions of grandeur? No, I'm serious, realizing there's more to life than finding someone I jive with has honestly lead to me being far happier as of late than I ever was when I dated. I no longer have to stress about what she thinks of me, I'll simply live my life doing whatever it is I see fit to obtain happiness and if by some miracle someone comes along and crosses my path who can put up with my insecurities, then sweet. If not, **** it, I'm entirely over that stage and there are more important things worth focussing on than finding someone who loves me so I can vainly validate my own self-worth -- because that's honestly what I've determined a lot of "forever aloners" subconsciously want, even if they don't realize it.

Somewhat agreed there. I have pretty much figured out the definition of the term "real man" as they use it pretty much means "man with tons of money and materialistic possessions". It saddens me.

im single.. cant say i want to ever get in a relationship on that level with anyone. but if the opportunity ever presented itself for something solid i would at min. think about it

Nope because I too enjoy being single. To be honest I have never dated and I feel that I wouldn't like it anyways. I got other things to do then care about relationships.

The longer you end up being single, the more you get set in your ways. The hardest part about being in a relationship is that you have to constantly compromise on what you would like to do.

It's an important time. I like it. Don't have to be in a relationship for sex.

What's worse are people who are constantly in a relationship and are too scared to be on their own. These people take awhile (if ever) to figure out who they are and what they want.
