And by comic books I mean comics like Batman, Superman, X-Men, The Punisher, etc. They always seemed so lame to me. I can't really explain it.

I never read them as a kid since I only liked Batman and in the 90s his comics were really dark. I will admit to owning graphic novels of The Punisher and Sin City, but that is all.

i donthave a big problem with them, there are a lot i dont care for, but some like, v for vendetta and the metal gear solid ones that i buy.

I've recently become a closet comic book reader. I'm somewhat of a pencilist myself (yeah, I made up a word), so I appreciate the art, and the stories always seem very intriguing to me. I often find the dialogue cheesy, but this may be because I'm not reading very good quality comics.
