Well everyone goes through dry periods and theres no such thing as too old btw ;) but games certainley do lose the charm that they use to have when you were younger as they get older or maybe its just the industry as it today?
I haven't and I've been playing video games as long as anybody has. Occasionally there was a lull and I had to wait for interesting games to come out but currently the market is so huge that there are more games than I have time to play.
I still play quite a bit, not 5 hours a day but I still play just about everyday. It's funny how my friends make fun of me not playing computer games as much.
Yep, I still play some of the new games every once in a while with a friend, but I haven't bought my own in a couple years. None of it seems worth my money anymore.
It depends if I have bought a game recently or not. I was playing my DS all the time a few months ago, as I had just bought a few new games for it. But now I don't game that much, as I haven't bought a game in months.
I've just been playing Halo, Guitar Hero, and Ninja Gaiden series mainly these days, the only ones that hold my interest, oh and Banjo-Kazooie (well when the new one comes out). Along with a few classic games but yeah, I buy a bunch of games but never end up playing them. I still have a pile of like 45 games that haven't even been touched :(
Depends on what type of game it is. Right now I'm playing games from last generation or two (Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, and XBOX). They don't make games like they used to, or maybe I'm not looking in the right places. Oddworld, Jet Grind Radio, Beyond Good and Evil, and Panzer Dragoon Orta are all treasures to me compared to the games that I've played the last year or two.
yeah i bought a GBA SP a few months ago, not as much fun as it was a few years ago. Idk games don't interest me much anymore. Although there are a few games im looking forward to.
I think as we get older we find that real life gets in the way of gaming (unless of course you don't have a real life). The problem is that when working full time, trying to get college degrees, raising childeren, buying houses and cars, etc. everything starts to get in the way and we have to fit gaming into our life rather than simply having that extra time. And of course we begin to realize (some of us) that games just aren't that important, they're fun, but not the most or even really an important part of life.
That doesn't mean that they aren't still fun, or that we get too old. Personally I will game till I die, but not every day.
