yeah i buy from amazon i've never had a problem just make sure you read the description for the item you want to purchase
It's perfectly fine.... i seriously can't beleive people are still wary of internet shopping, it's perfectly fine and if it does go wrong you've got the distance selling act to protect you. You're just as likely possibly more so to get ripped off on the high street than you are on the internet, more so as with the internet you can instantly go to the manufacturer's website to see if the retailer is telling the truth also you can look up reviews and check prices with other places quickly.markop2003And also dispute the transaction with the credit card company as a last resort. That's why I never use my debit card online; always a credit card.
Amazon is as legit as they come.dodgerblue13The company itself is, but you also have to be weary of the third-party sellers.

Yes, but the money is already out of your account. With a credit card, you haven't paid it yet. If there is a fraudulent seller, I certainly don't want him to have direct access to my bank account. You can dispute debit transactions as well....

I've had third-party sellers' items not come for a month after I've bought them. It's really on a case-by-case basis. As for the debit card, if you need to get a refund or dispute a charge, you're still fighting to get your own money back. With credit, you just have to fight to not have to pay it in the future.

You could go through paypal if you're so worried, then you're insured up to 500 quidAlmost everything I buy is from Amazon. They usually have the best prices, amazing selection, they have free shipping for orders over $25, they always hip on time (usually early), and the few issues I've had are with private sellers working through amazon. In that case you can report it to Amazon they'll refund you your money within a couple of weeks. I've only had two issues where they needed to give me a refund and both times they didn't even question if I was trying to scam them or not. Really great company,
There's nothing fishy about it. I've used it many many times. Especially for college kids, books are dirt cheap on there.best-gam3r
Ordering used books can be questionable... The problem with them is that sometimes the shipping will take way too long or... The book that they send you is actually a earlier addition when your looking for a later one... Just be careful who you order used products from and make sure they have a good reputation.
Other than that Amazon is fantastic.
