It depends... it seems like most things I buy on Amazon now are through independent sellers anyway, so the shipping varies, just like Ebay.Engrish_Majorreally? Most stuff I buy comes from them direct.

Most stuff I buy comes from them direct. All else equal, I will try buy from them direct. However, most things lately have been cheaper through independent sellers, like used hard-to-find CDs or hardware and stuff.
Ebay for sure. When searching on amazon for something I'd look up on ebay, the results show me that amazon doesn't even have half the variety.
ebay i tried to buy gta IV used on amazon and got it in a plastic case and it was already pretty scratched XD4NTESINF3RNOXI don't think you are immune from that on Ebay, though I guess they usually post more pictures of the items. However, you are just as likely to get scammed on Ebay as you are anywhere else.

i haven't been scammed on ebay yet :| XD4NTESINF3RNOXI didn't say that you have. What you do have is one anecdotal instance that seems to keep you from buying from a website, whether it is actually Amazon's fault or not. There are millions of instances of people getting scammed on ebay, though. Don't let one example skew your judgement.
I prefer Amazon over Ebay... and that free super saver shipping thing is awesome.SajedeneDo you guys get free shipping on marketplace items in the US? I know there's Amazon prime, which isn't available here, and the Canada Amazon store has a pathetic selection of items in comparison, but anything not directly sold by Amazon has nice fat shipping fees.
Both have their advantages and disadvantages, but I find myself using Amazon more because I usually find things for a lower price there than I do on ebay. But price depends on the seller, so I guess you could say I've had more luck with amazon.
