I switched my major from Network Engineering to Art at a communnity college, to later transfer to an in-state university and major in Art and Design. I decided to "pursue my passion" and work hard in this field. The major isn't totally useless like a Fine Arts degree or philosophy degree, based from the program courses and descriptions at least; I'd be working with graphic design, 3D animation, and even a little bit of web design, among other things. There are people who consider it lazy to not pursure IT and CS and Mathematics and say it's the reason why tech jobs are being outsourced more and more. What do you all think, not only for my decesion, but with the whole "there are too many American students who pursue non-sense degrees instead of IT and math, etc."
