America or Europe?

What is it with you and your Europe's stuff vs America's stuff threads? Anyway I pick Europe, 'cus It's beautiful.Wetall_basic

I like talking about different cultures, plus I'm European myself. Well English/New Zealander, so half really. Even though some British people dont consider the U.K part of europe for some reason...

But if I had to choose I would probably choose Europe, specifically england

i hate many things about America, especially how the politcians are making a mess around the world, BUT i can answer this question without any hesitation, that deep in my heart i like America very much. it's a wonderful country with a myriad of fantastic landscapes ( both literal and cultural ), a society that embodies -- albeit sometimes in a twisted manner -- the various facets of modernity, and a short but dramatic history that truly defines the soul of the nation as something no less sophisticated than its European counterparts. i'd like to tell my kids one day, that this is the country which gave birth to rock n roll and atomic bomb, that the people of this nation have the privilege to call Elvis Presley and Abraham Lincoln their own, and that even tho they make grievous mistakes all the time, they still have the courage and integrity to be the greatest country in the entire world.

I'll go with America. Because it's easier to travel out of America and visit the rest of the world than it is to visit America, what with customs as they are. And I base that on no facts whatsoever and merely hearsay.Sgt_Politeness

That was quite titillating. Personally I would love to live in or around Dublin, maybe Edinburgh. If I knew Italian however than the coast of Italy would be my main choice, maybe Florence or somewhere in Tuscany as well:D

Most of Spain has bad weather, it is only the mediterranean coast that has good one. Don't know about Italy though. Anyways, neither of them are really representative of Europe.
