Secondly, trusting ANYTHING related to America from RT is...laughable, at best. Russia Today is literally the most slanted and agenda-oriented news organization I have ever seen, and I've lived in Russia, England, and America. For God's sake, they called footage of a supposed pro-Gaddhafi MiG-25 (turned out to be one of two that were captured, and the whole thing was a tragic case of friendly fire) being downed as proof that the then-rebels were "shooting at civilian aircraft".

That's a generalisation and a common stereotype that the youth has casted on them. There's always going to be bad cops, just like they are bad chefs, bad retailers, but you only hear about the cops because everyone already hates them.

It seems like whenever talks about police all I see is essentially "**** the police" horse ****.
Sure, not all of them in every place are necessarily great, and some places probably have some pretty terrible ones, but the good part seems to be excluded way too much...

The point is, if you come across a bad retailer/chef/librarian/teacher/whatever, you can tell them you think they are doing a bad job and/or report them to their manager etc. You try and tell a cop you think he's twisted (especially with legitimate reason) he'll smash your face into the floor of Walmart while he merrily delights in cuffing you.
While I am of course severely generalizing the age-old problem still stands = who's policing the police? Especially in today's society with paperwork and statistics etc it's commonly reported and generally pretty damn obvious that any person with genuinely good intentions when they join either become completely disillusioned and frustrated or they give up their angelic morals and become a less moral individual/go with the corrupt flow. Exactly like politicians.
The library I work in shares a building (and small kitchen thingy) with the local police station and without a doubt they are all wankers. Every cop I've even met has been a wanker. Unfortunately, when it comes to cops, the best cops are the ones who are the least bad of a bad bunch.

Well I don't what the hell sorta cops you have had contact with, because I've been pulled over before, and I complained that I was only going fast to overtake another car, and the cop agreed, but gave me a warning, which is fair. I responded politely and didn't show agitation, as I know it's just his job to make sure I'm not carelessly driving too fast.
