American Dad vs. Family Guy

I was just reading one of these about Futurama and The Simpsons so I decided to make one for these two shows.

Family Guy has been one of my favorites for years now. I never got into American Dad.

I'm going with Family Guy.

This guy's a thief! He's a stealer! He stole! You stole.

Whatever. I don't think anyone is going to vote for American Dad, it's just comparatively bad.

My message to you guys, meh...

I used to hate American dad, but I've watched it some recently and it's actually pretty funny. Although, I still think Family Guy is like 10x better.

Yea, The Simpsons is the best but its not a choice.

I think Maggie would destroy Stewie.

season 3-6 family guy

american dad is better than seasons 1-2 and 7+ of family guy.

I prefer Family Guy; I never truly laughed while watching American Dad.

The huge difference between the two is Family Guy is very random, stupid humor(which I love)

American dad is smarter, satirical, and has an actual plot.

I love both shows, but, I would have to say FamilyGuy is just a bit better imo. Just becuz the ridiculously retarded comedy is so funny.

I would rather have one really good laugh every 5-10 minutes then spend every 30 seconds rolling my eyes at something dumb or contrived.

Of course, I also find King of the Hill funny, so maybe my body's comedy center is malfunctioning.

i like King of the Hill too...idk why, but I do. I just really love satire i guess. Lol

I don't find American Dad that funny. I've seen a few episodes and it's writing just isn't that great. I love Family Guy even though the newer episodes haven't been that great.

Family Guy. I don't like American Dad. Family Guy is way overrated, but it's still good.

I guess I'm one of the few people who thinks that American Dad utterly destroys Family Guy.
