They both won...actually all the finalists won. It means just as much to say that you were a finalist on American Idol than saying that you won American Idol.
They will all most likely get record contracts, and endorsements, and TV appearances. I doesn't mean anything to win.
And, i didn't pay enough attention to the show to accurately choose a winner.
You know, I really think JPSmonkey111 deserved to win Amercan Idol. I mean, Simon Cowell thinks he's awesome, Randy thinks he's in the cat cage, and Paula thinks he's hot. Why not elect him American Idol :D:P;)8):lol::oops: ?

Ya I agree,but everyone is like "Cook only won because Archuleta wasn't ready..."yah my ass...besides to me the only reason the David A. has that voice is because he has a screwed up throught and ya...anywho I really didn't care who won,but after all the stuff about David A I got pissed...Plus who whouln't go for a rocker,especally one who plays guitar,and is left handed...Left Handed!!!
