Simon basically tipped everyone off yesterday that Sanjaya was gonna be gone no matter what - poor show ratings = bye bye Sanjaya.

Who knows? The only reason why Sanjaya was on there that long was because Simon made it so abundantly clear how glad he would be when Sanjaya was gone, and the people wanted to vote against Simon. Maybe everybody finally came to their senses, and realized the guy was an absolutely terrible singer.

All I know is that there was absolutely no way that they were going to let themselves get stuck giving a record deal to somebody with absolutely no musical talent whatsover.

Haha, are you kidding? He wasn't going to win. There was a weak effort by some independent talk show hosts to get people to keep voting for him, to make fun of him. But he's so terrible, this was bound to happen sooner or later. Nothing was rigged...it's pretty obvious the kid is just bad, and people got sick of hearing his whiny voice.

I'm not talking about the judges, I'm talking about the millions of people that really enjoy that show (including my sister) who would really hate to see that show go off the air.

I think you missed the point of my attempt at wit entirely.

I was responding as if the comment, "Your intentions were only to hurt others. To see satisfaction in making many people miserable," was directed at the judges on the show, since that is basically what they do in my opinion. Of course, I've never even intentionally watched that show, but I've seen clips of it.
