This video has been circulating for quite some time. You'd have to be extremely gullible to believe this wasn't staged or just completely ignorant to assume this reflects the general US population in any way. Maybe certain areas of the country there are higher concentrations of idiots, but the US is a big country, filled with some of the brightest minds in the world.

I could make a video just like this from any other country in the world. Just saying...
