An alternative criminal punishment

I was thinking what would be a good method of punishment to criminals besides the death penalty and prison. I believe that all major criminals convicted of such acts as: murder, rape, paedophilia, kidnapping should be made slaves and sold in an auction. Our economy would do remarkably well as a result of this.

Your thoughts?

And the logistics of companies/farms having to provide security for these people, so they don't commit more crimes, wouldn't make the cost worthwhile.

And, of course, there's that pesky 13th ammendment that gets in the way of your plan.

That is for petty crimes and it only lasts for a couple of months. I propose slavery for at least 30 years.

i dont believe in the death penalty, what they should do with the really pysoctic criminals is implant a chip into the back of their head and ban them from america. we should ship them to the sahara desert and tell them if they are tracked near america they will be shot on site.muchmoneyg
