Anchovies Are Fish

Just found out an anchovy is a fish. I always thought it was some kind of vegetable or fruit. Is this news to anyone else?

I googled this because the person was talking about removing the intestines and head of an anchovy. I was like, an anchovy has intestines and a head?

Shark, tuna, cod, salmon, and trout aren't vegetables either.

This is an anchovy. Yes, people put them on pizza (not me). I am not a big fan of eating anchovies (or sardines), but they can be found in Worcestershire Sauce (at least Lea & Perrins).:|

I once had anchovies on my pizza. Never making that mistake again.
