Am i the only one who's noticed it ? i loved em ever since i was little, but not only has the bags shrunk in size, but most of them have less of the flavoring they used to have yet and still they are sold for a dollar, they used to be so orange when you put them in your mouth you get a blast of the flavor, now most of them look like they barely have any of the seasoning on them.................if my favorite chips in the world dies..........everyone dies.......i mean it :x but not really, doritos on the other hand could not have put anymore seasoning on theirs.......im saddened, that they have YET to make a big bag like the rest of the corporations why is that

I think in marketing it's referred to the JND or just-noticeable difference - cutting back on certain ingredients in a product to save costs, for example. If you axe one carrot from every six cans of soup you save that money as long as the end result isn't so different the consumer notices and stops buying. Some companies continue to do it over time, which is probably why you're noticing it - you've been around to see them alter the fries on more than one occasion and can remember what their original product was like.

dude you're not joking ha, most of the grocery stores dont even sell them, mostly only thing the grocery store has is Doritos, onion rings (funyuns) and basicaly everything you can name but them, we had to go all across the globe for some, ok exagerrating a little, we had to go a few miles for some........and found a Gas Station that carried them........wtf ? i dont understand why the big name stores "Safeway, Shoppers, Food Lion, Giant" etc dont carry them........i dont want to believe it........but i think the product will end soon at the rate its going......and i will be extremely pissed

They're a buck fifty around here, now, can only be found at gas stations too. Not even Walmart has them.

I completely agree, I mean what happened? They weren't ungodly hot before but they still were worthy to be called Hot Fries. They're like starch sticks now.
