Animals are getting smarter

I can't believe how my pets are getting smarter. I have a dog and a cat. Both get along well. Just the other day, my dog was across the street and I told him to cross over and he had the ability to look both ways without me coming over to get him and I didn't even teach him that. My cat on the other hand saw a leaf in his water bowl so he dipped his paw into the water and gotten the leaf out and continued to drink the water. I know for sure that their brains are developing, but not this fast, plus my cat is still a little kitten. Anyone else have pets that have common sense?

My cat is becoming so smart he's already trying to learn how to work the keyboard. Sure, all he types is "sadjklgf'hg;", but he'll get better, amirite?

My cat can open almost all the doors in my house. And knows how to tell us when she is out of food. I don't know about other animals. But I got a smart cat.

I don't think the fact that two of your pets have learned how to do things is adequate grounds to state that the entire of the animal kingdom is becoming increasingly more intelligent.kamikaze_pigmy

Oh, yes, she talks.

My dog thought of greater interest that he would claim my sleeping grounds (my bed) when I first got him... What an interesting 3 days that was... But yeah my parrot learned how to open his cage that claimed it was fool proof... Animals have always been smart to logically think this stuff... So it isn't shocking to see weird sporadic activities from pets now a days.

My cats and dogs are working together to drive me insane. Gov'mint conspiracy, man!
