It doesn't have to be from an anime you like, but one you think is pretty badass.

I like the DBZ intro. The funimation versions are more exciting.BranKetraCan't comment on Fuimation DBZ, the Latin version of DBZ was the one dubbed on Mexico and it kept almost everything from the Japanese like the openings, ending and soundtrack. Sad other animes like Yugioh instead of dubbing directly from the japanese version they took the US version. Overlap by Kimeru is a great opening song and imo is better than the opening used by 4Kids.
For me it is Oath/Sign by Lisa. Also check Cha la Head Cha la, the original opening of DBZ. Miroku32Funny thing is, the other day I happen to stumble this awesome version of Head chale. lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_cqg6JcwfI&feature=related

I never watched the japanese version of Yugioh.
Fruits Basket.
I like to cuddle up with a teddy bear and sing along to the intro. Let's stay together... Always! Pah pah pah pah-pah pah pah pah!
:D
Here, Overlap. As for Dragon Ball, are you referring to Rock the Dragon? That's cool.[QUOTE="BranKetra"]Search youtube for it. The first and second ones were my favorites. I never watched the japanese version of Yugioh. Miroku32
Yeah, Rock the Dragon and the second one. The japanese intro to Escaflowne and the english opening for Monster Rancher are pretty good.
[QUOTE="Miroku32"]Oh, Rock the Dragon. It may be because I grew up with Cha la Head Cha la but I didn't like too much Rock the Dragon. BranKetraCha la's good, too.better then Rock The Dragon.

Armitage III (OVA).
It's a very obscure cyberpunk Anime like Ghost in the Shell.
Take a listen to its opening though:

Isn't that epic?

Besides that, there are hundreds of Anime openings that I absolutely love.
From Seikon no Qwaser, to Nichijou, to Samurai Champloo, I just can't pick a favorite.
I will have to say either the English dubbed version openings of Pokemon or Yugioh. These two were some of the earliest anime I have watched so I can still fondly remember some of the lyrics and the tunes of the opening song.
In recent years I have watched more meaningful anime like Bakemonogatari but their openings do not evoke the same feeling like the Yugioh and Pokemon ones do.
