I have watched both and honestly some of the dubbed voices are better and some of the original japanese voices are better. It's a bit of a strange occurrence.
ugh bleach is just too long seriously who wants too keep up with 300+episodes lol I like my animes one-three seasons long or I lose interest :P Never said I liked Bleach. :P I know what you mean, it's a long/drawn out series.A lot of DBZ fans like Bleach.

Lets see, there's Trinity Blood, Getbackers, Hellsing, Tenjho Tenge, Darker than Black, Vampire Hunter D, Claymore,Kurosh|tsuji, and Ergo Proxy. Just to name a few actiony ones you might like.
Fullmetal Alchemist is excellent.Hexagon_777Then again, it might be a bit too excellent for you, TC. It really is on a whole other echelon compared to Dragon Ball. The story, the characters, and even the violence. Watch some other anime in the mean time.
Same list I always draw out, Elfen Lied, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Ergo Proxy, Witch Hunter Robin, Cowboy Bebop, Gantz. All have decent dubs if you aren't into subs.raven_squadi've heard of ghost in the shell before. whats it about?

And it has turned into DBZ.. right now people are getting more powerful every other manga, some are so far along they can't even hurt them O.O
you need to watch cowboy bepop and samurai champloo
edit: both are only 26 episodes and each episode is great, I liked samurai champloo alot more though because of one of the characters "Mugen" is just so badass.
Stephen Blum has one badass voice
I watched all of Naruto and have watched approximately 40 episodes of Naruto Shippuden and I just can't stand the fillers anymore. After Sasuke ran away, they showed 85 episodes of horrid filler crap right up to Naruto Shippuden. 85 episodes. Around 1700 minutes of ****. And don't say that I didn't have to watch them, of course I didn't. If one episode comes out once a week, however, then that is 85 weeks wasted. 85 weeks of waiting. It's simply not worth it. I also remember when announcements of double episodes used to mean that epic things were going to happen and yet they ruined that by sending Naruto, Sakura, Sai, and Yamato off to some hot springs in Naruto Shippuden. Great. Maybe you should reconsider calling people anime snobs for criticising Naruto and should instead ask yourself if you are a fanboy.
Okay for starters, don't start watching Bleach. The show starts off good for about the first 60 episodes, but quickly falls flat. The anime is especially poor because they will include 30-50 episodes of fillers whenever they feel like it. You can be in the middle of an important arc or some huge battle, and they will cut to filler. It really hurts the quality of the show when well over 100 episodes are pure filler.
If you enjoyed the DB/DBZ series, especially the original when Goku is a kid up until his teenage years, you will ABSOLUTELY love this show called One Piece. If you recall in Dragonball, Goku and company were not trying to save the world (like in DBZ), but rather they were more focused on exploring the world, meeting new people, etc. One Piece has a lot of parallels to the original Dragonball and in many cases, it does it much better.
One Piece tells the story of a teen named Monkey D. Luffy, who aspires to become the Pirate King. In his pursuit of this dream, he gathers a crew, all with varying personalities. Here are some details on a few of his crewmates: One is a stern swordsman, another a coward and chronic liar, and there is also a shrewd thief. The show starts off rather slow, but it picks up and keeps improving from there, never taking steps backwards.
You will see the crew make the transition from insignificance to some of the greatest enemies the World Government has ever encountered. The fights the pirates get involved in range from small skirmishes to battles of massive scale, involving many different parties. One of the areas that One Piece absolutely trumps Dragonball is in character development and plot. The author does such a great job of making you feel like you are in a living and breathing world by creating a lot of variety in both environments and character design/personality. The plot is very well thought out and the viewer can tell. For example, the author will drop in small details here and there that will seem unimportant at first, but have huge repercussions possibly hundreds of episodes later after you've completely forgotten all about it (creates many "OH ****" moments =P). If you do decide to watch it, you should view it in Japanese only. The English versions are highly censored and the voice acting is awful.
Also, if you enjoyed DBZ, Naruto is pretty good as well. Watch this in Japanese as well. Most animes have poor English dubs, so you are better off sticking to Japanese subs in the future (with some exceptions of course).
Full Metal Alchemist was great. The old one not Brotherhood.IWKYBIt's the other way around considering the new one actually follows the manga...I haven't watched Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood yet but Fullmetal Alchemist is excellent, even if it doesn't follow the manga.
