My comp has been having some wierd problems lately. A nonexistent .dll called vopuvemi keeps trying to run itself, or atleast it says it can't find it. If anyone has had this problem, knows how to get rid of it, or has it on their comp right now, this is the place to talk about it.

I did sometime before making this thread. I think it was the other day. couldn't find anything useful, and I didn't trust whatever was saying it could get rid of this thing. Do you have any idea what it might be?

Try bleepingcomputer.coms forums, thats where I went. I had a problem with some dll trying to run itself and saying it cannot be found. This went away after I ran combofix and found a rootkit.

I think you have to try to deep scan your computer for viruses.

I don't know what it is. And I've ran virus scans every other day, but the program isn't detecting the dlls that can't be found. By the way I use super anti spyware.

http://www.bing.com/search?q=vopuvemi

the first result from Bing says it is an adware. Perhaps you installed some so-called freeware that bundled with it?

magicalclick

Wow. just checked the link and turns out I have the thing to get rid of it. And I don't know about any freeware that came with it.

I got the virus off a few days ago, so no more pop up crap that randomly came up and no more scanning every other day :).
